Robert Martin helps surveyors in all facets of the surveying industry solving their most difficult problems from field to finish. It takes hard work, patience, dedication and a lot of technical savvy to solve problems and Robert has the passion and commitment to meet the task.

Robert has been in his current position in survey sales with NEI since 2006 and is now serving as the Senior Technical Team Lead in Survey Sales with a team and territory spanning into 6 states.  Robert’s hometown is in Arkansas and he now lives in South Mississippi which is a strategic location to fulfill his role at NEI. He is licensed as a surveyor in both states.

On the surface Robert Martin is a serious professional with the technical skills to face the challenging technological evolutions and sophistication of the surveying industry today. Robert works hard and is committed to stay ahead of the changes and technological advancements. Underneath that technological mind lies the heart of a country boy, and the honesty, integrity and work ethic that was passed to him from his dad at a young age. Robert has a spirit of generosity combined with the desire to help others solve difficult challenges, and the know how to back it up. He has been surveying for decades since 1986 and his opinions are highly valued. People trust him, they also respect his experience and judgement.

Robert was nominated and elected by his peers to serve as President of the Arkansas Society of Professional Surveyors in 2011-2012.  As a member of the Arkansas and Mississippi associations of professional surveyors, Robert has committed his time for years to speaking engagements and educational seminars. He specializes in many types of training whether one on one, classroom, web-based or video, Robert can be trusted to train and coach surveyors to promote confidence in both the field and the office.

As a surveyor, Robert Martin understands the demands and processes of achieving a good deliverable. As a prior business owner himself, Robert also understands the demand for productivity along with other facets of running a business, from the purchasing of the best equipment, adequate user training, all the way down to the importance of marketing. Robert’s success is rooted in experience, he is deeply involved with GPS equipment and the user experience. He focuses on product design through analysis of user behavior and usability testing of GPS equipment.
