The Trimble SiteVision team is pleased to announce that version 2.00 of Trimble SiteVision Software is now available.
Users can now create a new model from the device. This is particularly useful when the user wants to do quick data collection, and use the SiteVision apps when there isn’t existing data in the current area to work with.
The new features are:
Create a model in the field
Add a preloaded 3D model to a measured point
Measure lines and areasÂ
Create Profiles
Create Planes
Edit attributes of captured data
Layer Management
Create models in the field
Now, you don’t need to upload pre-existing data in order to use the Trimble SiteVision apps. You can collect survey data, create conceptual designs, and design temporary works without preparing a model in advance.
Add a preloaded 3D model to a measured point
Place any symbol at a measured point. Visualize design concepts on the fly. Impress clients and enhance QA/QC.
Area Measurement
Measure and verify linear quantities and areas completed. During inspections, provide visual feedback on what has been measured in order to reduce errors.
Create Profiles
Integrates into earthmoving equipment to reduce downtime on machines. Create the profile of a trench, haul road, retention bank, or any other shape. Measure the locations along which the design will be created.
Create Planes
Create plane surfaces, both horizontal and sloped (including cross-slopes) to assist designing building pads or concrete. Designs can be easily transferred to the Trimble Earthworks platform for automated machine control.
Layer Management
Users can select which measurements and data to visualize at any given point. You can select which measurements and data to visualize at any given point.
