We’re Excited to Share the Latest Updates in ArcGIS Pro 3.6 with You
The features and enhancements in this release are designed to make your work more efficient and intuitive. From quickly adding layers to your legend with fewer steps, to receiving in-app software announcements, this release is packed with features you will want to leverage right away.
Here is a quick look at some of the highlights:
– Enhanced time zone mapping: Eliminate the need to do mental calculations when working with data from different regions of the globe. Set one time zone for your entire map so that all temporal data displays consistently, making collaboration and cross-regional analysis far simpler.
– Ability to easily calculate fields in attribute tables: The new Calculate Field toolbar lives right inside the attribute table. You can now adjust values and run expressions instantly without breaking your editing flow to open separate tools.
– Faster legend updates: Quickly refine your map’s story by adding layers to the legend in fewer steps. No more dragging map layers up through the Contents pane—just faster, cleaner cartography.
– ModelBuilder redesign: A modern interface, improved iconography, real-time progress display, and connection pop-ups make it easier than ever to build, edit, and troubleshoot your geoprocessing models. The new look is also consistent with ModelBuilder in ArcGIS Online, providing a consistent user experience across ArcGIS.
– Software notifications delivered directly in ArcGIS Pro: Automatically receive information on software changes, deprecation notices, and critical software defects with announcements in ArcGIS Pro. Gone are the days of having to search the support site, documentation, or Esri Community for important information relevant to your use of ArcGIS Pro.
