Great Question! Anytime you plan on updating your software or your GPS units firmware we recommend you consult the Mapping & GIS Product Compatibility List to make sure everything will work properly. Customers need to be cautious with upgrades because sometimes a firmware may require a newer version of software and if you are not under maintenance then you may have to pay for some software updates.
